Welcome to our Birthing Area
We are happy you have taken the time to learn about your options for a safe and satisfying birth.

- birth can be one of the most empowering life experiences
- women, babies and their families benefit from the most natural birth experience as possible and desired.
Our birth area features 2 birthing rooms, 2 postpartum rooms and a family room. Each is decorated in a rich green and burgundy color scheme complemented by light oak furniture. One birthing room has a 110 gallon Jacuzzi tub.
Each room has a birthing bed with a squatting bar, a private bathroom with shower, remote controlled T.V. and a CD/cassette player. The family room has plush furniture, a T.V., microwave and refrigerator so family members can relax as they are waiting for the birth.
We have 6 physicians and 1 midwife on staff to serve your birthing needs. There are specially trained nurses to care for you and your baby during your stay. Our nurses are trained to care for new moms after delivery and with breastfeeding. A lactation consultant is available to assist with breastfeeding challenges.
In 2004 our hospital received the special recognition of being a Baby-Friendly Birth Facility. We are practicing all Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding as defined by the World Health Organization and the United Nations Children's Fund. Tours of our birthing area are available on request.
