Central Supply/Purchasing

Central Supply (C.S.) routinely orders and stocks supplies to operate and maintain all areas of patient care in conjunction with the Purchasing Department. C.S. performs routine materials management processes involving physical inventory. The department performs terminal sterilization of all equipment passing through the decontamination area. Instruments are then inspected and processed to meet state standards of sterility. The Purchasing Department purchases supplies for all departments in the facility obtaining the best prices and quality possible.
