Easter Basket SaleA Huge Success
The Okanogan Douglas Hospital Guild held its annual Easter Basket/Bake sale on Friday, April 7th with unprecedented results.
Members of the guild had assembled 100 baskets in sizes ranging from extra small to extra, extra large along with delicious baked items and a creative assortment of raffle items. Winners of the raffle included Janet Hanke who won the hot air balloon ride with complimentary brunch from Morning Glory Balloon Tours in Winthrop, the Brewster Kiwanis walked away with one night's lodging at the Lake Pateros Motor Inn and four meals at the Lake Pateros Cafe and Beth Lynch, captured a $50.00 gift certificate to Brewster Drug & True Value. There were a multitude of winners of gorgeous stuffed animals.
The Guild sincerely thanks the community for their support of all fundraisers promoted by the group. The mission of the Okanogan Douglas Hospital Guild is to make the patient's stay in the hospital. Currently, the Guild is participating in the hospital's room renovation project. People interested in becoming a part of this group are invited to contact any Guild member or Brenda White at the hospital.
