"Recipes to Remember”
Cookbook

Okanogan Douglas Hospital Guild
The Okanogan Douglas Hospital Guild is offering a 393 recipe cookbook, compiled from contributions from guild members, hospital employees and friends. Proceeds from the cookbook will be used in the current patient room renovation project. “We felt it was time for a good cookbook since the hospital had not prepared one in many years”, said committee chairperson, Laura Jameson. She also said that sales have been brisk. “The title 'Recipes to Remember' with a colorful cover depicting apples, pears, grapes and cherries is eye catching and reflects the products of this area. This book will make a great Christmas gift,” Laura shared.
The cookbooks are being offered for $10.00 each and may be purchased from any hospital guild member or at the Quad City Herald, Sterling Savings Bank and Lake Pateros Rentals.
Guild members will also offer the cookbooks at two upcoming craft fairs, the Grange in Brewster on Friday, Dec. 2nd and the Okanogan Women’s Club Christmas Bazaar at the Okanogan High School Cafeteria on Sat., Dec. 3rd.
