Labor and Delivery 
Obstetrical Services (OB)
This unit offers care in the Labor and Delivery Room setting 24hrs a day, 7 days a week. The labor, delivery and recovery of both mother and infant all take place in newly remodeled birthing suites, unless Cesarean Section is indicated (which is performed in our surgery suite with recovery room). All attempts are made to maintain the family unit during this experience. This family center approach has been shown to enhance patient and family satisfaction.
Okanogan Douglas Hospital is proud to have achieved “Baby Friendly” designation in 2003. One of only 42 hospitals in the United States to accomplish this acknowledgment, ODDH was recognized for it’s commitment to the physical and emotional health and well being of the entire family unit throughout the birthing process. ODDH strives to provide superior service to our maternity patients and their family. |
