Position Title: ER-Supervisor

Department:Nursing Services
Position Description: To coordinate, direct and manage all ER/Trauma activities of the Emergency Room Department.
The Trauma Manager/ER Supervisor will assist the Chief Nursing Officer in twenty-four hour responsibility and accountability for the efficient operation of all aspects of Trauma & Emergency Services nursing care. Duties include achievements of staff competency, policies, patient satisfaction and financial targets. Supervises and manages department personnel. Responsible for monitoring and managing the hospital’s trauma services program; from the Emergency Department until the patient is discharged or transferred. The Trauma Manager/ER Supervisor works to promote optimal critical care for trauma patients through clinical programs, administrative functions, liaison for professional, public programs and the quality assurance activities. The Trauma Manager/ER Supervisor acts as a liaison between the Emergency Department and patients, community agencies. Other duties as assigned.

The above wage range reflects the minimum, midpoint and maximum hourly rate for this position. New employees are hired between the minimum and midpoint of this range. The initial wage offered will be based on qualifications and experience.

    Qualifications:
    Education:Graduate of accredited School of Nursing with current State license as a Registered Nurse.
    Experience: Clinical experience in Emergency Nursing and knowledge of Emergency Medical Services, including pre-hospital care and Trauma, is also preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in a trauma setting. Two years of supervisory experience preferred but not required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to function as a Staff Nurse and/or Charge Nurse in the Emergency Department and Triage area
    License Required:Registered Nurse with current licensure in the State of Washington. Current BCLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS.
