The Okanogan Douglas Hospital Guild is in the process of planning their annual spring fundraiser. This is one of the biggest fundraisers for the Guild. Last year, it earned over $500.00.
Members will congregate in the hospital dining room on March 15th and assemble lots and lots of pretty Easter baskets. There will be big baskets, little baskets and medium baskets, all filled with delicious candies and fun toys. And, then the members will go home and bake delicious items for the sale.
The Easter Basket/Bake Sale has become legendary in Brewster thru the years. All money earned is used to make the patient’s stay more comfortable while they are in the hospital.
Joyce Steele, Laurie Holt and Laura Jameson are chairpersons for the event.
Raffle tickets for an assortment of goodies are on sale now from any Guild member.
